The Middle East has decided to join the group of nations hastening the coming of the Singularity and our likely robotic enslavement via Iran‘s recent unveiling of the Surena-2 humanoid robot.
Standing at just 4 feet 7 inches tall and weighing just 99 pounds, the robot was developed to engage in a number of sensitive activities that might benefit from an artificial hand. The country hasn’t offered details on the robot’s specific duties or capabilities, other than to say that its name is derived from an ancient Persian warrior.
